A number of years ago, Pastor Benny Hinn invited Larry Huch to be a guest on his television program “This Is Your Day.” During the taping, Pastor Huch shared his personal testimony of being set free from cocaine and heroin addiction. He explained that even though he was saved, and set free from drugs, that it would be years before he would be totally delivered from a generational curse of anger. What he said on those broadcasts dramatically affected Pastor Benny. They ended up doing two weeks of broadcasts just on the revelation Pastor Huch received on breaking generational curses. When the programs aired later, the response was tremendous. Pastor Benny said, "Larry, you need to write a book and teach this. God is raising you up to reach the world as he did with Derek Prince."

Four months later, Pastor Larry and his wife Tiz were having dinner with Oral and Evelyn Roberts. Oral shared with them that God had originally told him to bring deliverance to the captives. But, his ministry eventually took another direction, and he went on to preach the message of faith and healing around the world. He said "Larry the mantle of deliverance that I thought was for me is what God has given you. God is raising you up to be bring deliverance to people around the world, as He did with Derek Prince." That was the second time Larry Huch had heard those words. While he was excited at the word Oral Roberts had given him, he didn’t know fully what it meant. He left it in the hand God and waited for His timing.

A few more months passed and God woke him up in the middle of the night. He spoke to his spirit and said, "Larry, there are 10 curses that are blocking the blessings that I want to release on my people." "What are they Lord?" Larry asked. "I'll show you soon." The next morning he told Tiz, "God is going to show me 10 curses that block the blessing." He left the house and got into his car to go to his office at the church. Reaching into a box of tapes to listen to, he pulled out a message from Derek Prince. He put the tape in, even though he had no idea where it had come from. When he did he heard Derek say, "Here are the ten curses that block the blessing."

He would receive even more confirmation about God’s call on his ministry in two months. He and Tiz went to visit Joel Osteen. As they were visiting with Joel and his mother Dottie, she started to cry and said, “Larry, God is so proud of you. He is using you to set captives free."

The following November Pastors Ceasar and Claudia Castellanos were at New Beginnings in Portland for a conference. Claudia, with the help of a translator told Pastor Larry that she saw the gift of teaching in him. But she didn’t just mean that he would teach. When she told him that she perceived that he had the gift of teaching, she told him that the gift also included all of the gift of God. Ceasar added to what his wife had said and told Larry about a dream he had about Derek Prince. As he spoke with the help of a translator he said that he had seen in the dream, Derek praying and laying hand on hundreds of people. When he finished he told Pastor Larry that he should go and see Derek Prince.

After contacting Derek Prince Ministries Pastor Larry and Tiz found out that he was living in Israel. The ministry arranged for Larry and his friend Jimmy to go to Israel. Once there they joined Joseph Shulam and together they went to see a founding father of the faith, Derek Prince. When they arrive Derek was sick and weak, but wanted to see them anyway. As they all praised and worshipped God together Derek waited for a word from the Lord. He reached out to pray for Pastor Larry. His voice was barely audible and his hands shaking as he started. But soon his hands became steady and his voice strong and clear as he declared. "You will be like the arrow from the bow of God's hand that will go into the countries and the continents of the world. You will be the arrow that will destroy the enemies of God."

As we left, Joseph began to weep. He had recalled the week’s Torah portion. In it was the same prophesy that Derek Prince had declared and imparted as he prayed for Pastor Larry. Later he wrote this in a letter.

And so the vision for the ministry became clear and the journey began to bring God's message of breaking generational curses to the world, so that God's people would no longer be captive to the curse, but be victorious over it and enjoy all of God’s blessings.
