"His Kids" Ahava Children's Home
Pastors Larry & Tiz have expanded our ministry partnership with the Bnai Zion Foundation to include providing much needed support for the Ahava Village Children’s Home in northern Israel. This amazing home provides a loving, safe family environment to about 250 at-risk Jewish children and youth. These precious kids have been saved from life threatening situations and come into the home suffering with extreme psychological and emotional issues. Israel PicturesThrough our acts of kindness and financial support we are able to help turn their stories upside down. Now instead of knowing abuse, rejection and abandonment they can experience the love of God in a safe and nurturing atmosphere until they are old enough to join the Israel Defense Forces or go into national service.

During a recent trip to Israel Pastor Larry visited Ahava and saw firsthand, the healing and recovery taking place. He immediately called Tiz and shared what he had witnessed. From that very moment "His Kids" Israel became a reality. Israel Pictures Bnai Zion Medical Center in Haifa, Israel
Several years ago the Lord led Pastors Larry and Tiz to increase their investment into benevolent projects in Israel and for the sake of the Jewish people. When we learned about the work being accomplished through the Bnai Zion Foundation and the Medical Center in Haifa, Israel we approached them about making a donation to support their cause. It began with providing a much needed birthing bed for the pediatric department and has grown from there. Our ongoing support has included funding to help them complete a special underground emergency room that will protect against direct rocket attacks from terrorist enemies to the north.

During our May 2012 tour to Israel we visited the hospital and learned they were in desperate need of a critical piece of equipment for their emergency room. It was needed to improve their ability to save lives of the patients and especially victims of terrorist and rocket attacks. Friends and partners of our ministry responded with an outpouring of love and support and we were able to present the hospital with a $40,000 check to pay for the machine.

In addition, while touring these frontline medical facilities we were all taken by total surprise as the Hospital Director, Dr. Amnon Rofe unveiled an unexpected and incredible honor; Bnai Zion dedicated the Terror Response Medical Section to DFW New Beginnings and Pastors Larry & Tiz in appreciation of our financial support. Israel PicturesIf ever there was a moment when we experienced the effects of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) it was this moment. We saw Jews and Christians coming together in unity, peace, love and respect to make a difference. Just recently we discovered that 20% of the Hospital's patients are holocaust survivors; which has motivated us even more to continue this incredible partnership. We wish to express our deepest and sincerest thanks to our many partners who are making this much needed 'tzedakah' funding for the hospital possible.

Bnai Zion Award
Israel Pictures On November 4, 2012 the Bnai Zion Foundation honored Pastors Larry and Tiz at their yearly gala event with their annual American-Israel Friendship award. This extraordinary honor represents a deep appreciation for our charitable contributions and is viewed as a watershed event in the history of our church and ministry. Upon accepting this honor the Huchs were able to share the heart of our ministry; which is to demonstrate a love and commitment to Israel and the Jewish people. It certainly represents a defining moment in the relationship between the Christian and Jewish communities! As partners with us we want to thank you for your ongoing prayers and financial support because together all things are possible!

The Jewish Perspective
For nearly twenty years the Huchs have been studying and teaching the Bible from a Jewish perspective. Over this time of ministry they have become prominent authorities and ground breaking teachers on the subject of Jewish Roots. It’s no coincidence that this incredible journey to restore our Hebraic roots began outside the ruins of the ancient synagogue in Capernaum; the synagogue widely regarded as Jesus’ synagogue. In an ordained moment of time God spoke to Pastor Larry that He would teach him to re-read the Bible through the eyes of a Jewish Jesus.

This trip was orchestrated in part by our dear friend Joseph Shulam and Netivyah Ministries in Jerusalem. Brother Joseph has been such a blessing in helping us understand the importance of returning to our Judeo-Christian roots. Israel PicturesHe has been a frequent guest minister at our churches in Portland and Dallas. We support Netiviyah’s world-wide efforts to teach the Jewish Roots of Christianity and we have supported their feeding program and soup kitchen since it began in 2000.

We continue to need your help as we go into all the world to be ‘repairers of the breach’ between Christian and Jew. Your financial gift, large or small, is deeply appreciated and goes toward supporting our ministry efforts to help Bnai Zion, Netiviyah and our own efforts to the tearing down of the ‘middle wall’ that has divided Christians and Jews.

Brazilian / Jewish Christian Conference 2013
Pastor Larry's trip to Brazil in February 2013 as a featured speaker at the “Restoring the Unity and Reconciliation between the Church and Israel” Conference was highlighted by an unprecedented and historic spiritual breakthrough. Large crowds gathered for every conference session to learn the importance of reconciliation and restoring unity between the Church and Israel. The Conference was hosted by Pastor Marcelo Guimaraes and the Har Tzion Messianic Jewish Congregation in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

This amazing group has built the very first Museum of the Inquisition to draw international attention to this unbelievably horrifying 500 year part of church history. In a moving and dramatic moment during the conference highly regarded priests representing the Catholic Church openly acknowledged, confessed and repented for the sins of the Inquisition. Israel Pictures To be an eye witness to this astonishing proclamation is a powerful confirmation that our ministry is at the forefront of God's end-time plan of a "restitution of all things." And it did not escape our notice that the Pope resigned less than 24 hours later or 48 hours later lighting struck St Peters Basilica at the Vatican. These truly are what the Bible calls signs and wonders. We give praise to God for this amazing turn of events in the epic saga of restoring the relationship between Christians and Jews.

Pastor Larry opened the conference on Friday night teaching an overflowing and enthusiastic crowd on the revelation and secrets to celebrating Shabbat. During his next full session on the following Monday he taught the importance of adding revelation to many of rituals practiced within the messianic Jewish-Christian synagogue. Using the Tallit and his classic message of Healing in His Wings, Pastor Larry helped open the eyes of the audience to the mysteries that will release miracles and transform the Word of God from logos into rhema. It was also a great blessing to see so many of these precious Brazilian people reading Pastors book, "The Torah Blessing" in the Portuguese Edition. Even one of the Catholic Nuns in attendance came with book in hand for an autograph. God is indeed moving powerfully in these last days.
